Chinese Dance History
Chinese dance dates back nearly 5000 years. As in most cultures, Chinese dance is closely linked to and reflective of life experiences and concerns. Thus the dances can be divided into (1) CEREMONIAL; for praying to the gods for bountiful harvests, (2) DRAMATIC; for reporting and commemorating historical events, (3) MARTIAL; for demonstrating fighting techniques, and (4) AGRICULTURAL; for celebrating nature and work.

History of Dance Notation
The debate about the necessity of dance notation is pertinent in an age where it proves quicker and cheaper to record a performance on a Camcorder. However, the role of dance notation has always been a contentious one; its position marginal when considered against the pervasive oral tradition of ballet. This must in part be attributed to the sporadic development of a workable system, as well as to the fluctuating fortunes of dance as an art in Western culture.

Music of God
Literal Translation of the Bible into music

Genesis Verses 1-15. Just as the Word was translated in the Bible from Greek into English, this music CD is the Word translated from English into music. The melody is unaltered, straight from the King James version of the Bible. Each letter of the alphabet is assigned a musical note, so each word has it's own unique musical "spelling" just as it does in English or any other language. Played by an oboe, the melody is beautiful and lyrical. A wonderful meditation and relaxation aid.
